Waaree Energies Invests in USH for Strategic Growth
Waaree Energies, a company that makes solar panels, is investing $30 million in a company called United Solar Holding Inc (USH).
This investment will help Waaree Energies make more of the materials they need to build solar panels.
The money will go towards a big factory in Oman that makes a special material called polysilicon.
This factory can make enough material to support making solar panels for 40 GW per year.
A financial advisor named Emkay Global thinks this is a good move for Waaree Energies and gave the company a 'Buy' rating with a target price of Rs 4,260.
The stock price went up a little bit after this news.
The investment is expected to be finished by the end of January 2026.
Waaree Energies invests $30 million in United Solar Holding Inc (USH) for 5.37 million Series B preferred shares.
The investment aims to backward-integrate Waaree's solar PV value chain and support global expansion.
USH's polysilicon plant in Oman has a capacity of 100-ktpa and can support 40 GW per year of module production.
Emkay Global reiterates 'Buy' rating on Waaree Energies with a target price of Rs 4,260.
The transaction is expected to complete by end-January 2026, subject to customary conditions.
