Sensex Drops 900 Points Amid Oil Surge, Weak Earnings
The Indian stock market had a bad day on Friday.
The Sensex and Nifty50 dropped a lot because oil prices went up, and some big companies didn't do as well as expected.
This made people worried and sold their stocks.
Oil prices went up because there were problems in the Middle East, and this could make things more expensive in India.
Other markets around the world also did poorly, which made things worse.
Some stocks like Tesla and Alphabet fell a lot because they are spending more money on new technology but aren't making more money right now.
The market is feeling very uncertain.
Sensex plunged over 900 points, or 1.18%, to 75,474.
Nifty50 declined over 250 points, or over 1%, to 23,606.
Brent crude surged above $100 per barrel to $100.64.
Global markets ended sharply lower after disappointing earnings from major technology companies.
Tesla shares fell around 14%, while Alphabet declined nearly 7% after increasing AI spending plans.
