JU, Carring Minds host suicide prevention seminar
Imagine a big meeting where smart people talked about how to help people who are feeling very sad or like they don't want to live anymore.
This meeting was put together by a university and a mental health clinic.
They talked about how important it is to talk about mental health and suicide all the time, not just sometimes.
One of the speakers shared her own story of feeling very sad and getting better, to show others that they can get help too.
They also discussed how things like phones and the internet can change how people connect with each other.
The university also offers help to students and teachers through counseling and mentorship.
