MP cop arrested for assaulting minor girl
A police officer named Deepak Girwal was arrested for allegedly hurting a 15-year-old girl in Indore.
The girl said he followed her, scared her, and made her get into a car.
The police took him to court, and he is now in jail while they investigate.
The police chief said they are looking into what happened very carefully.
The officer was also removed from his job while this is being looked into.

Girwal was suspended and a detailed investigation was launched into the allegations against him.
The victim accused Girwal of stalking, harassing her, and forcing her into a car.
A case was registered against Girwal under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
After his arrest, Girwal was remanded in judicial custody by a local court.
