India's Aviation Complaints Soar in 2025
Passenger complaints about Indian airlines are rising quickly.
The DGCA, the aviation safety organization, received almost as many complaints in the first six months of 2025 as it did in all of 2024.
Also, there have been many technical problems with planes.
The government is aware of these issues and is working to ensure the safety of air travel.
The DGCA is monitoring the situation and ensuring all problems are looked into.
Passenger complaints in India's aviation sector have nearly matched 2024's full-year total in the first half of 2025.
The DGCA recorded 3,925 passenger complaints from January to June 2025.
In 2024, 4,016 complaints were recorded for the entire year.
183 technical defects in aircraft were reported as of June 2025.
