Mumbai Police Arrest Two Drug Traffickers
In Mumbai, two men were arrested for selling drugs.
The first man, Irshad Sardar Khan, is 70 years old and has been caught many times before.
He was even sentenced to 10 years in jail in 2008 but started selling drugs again after his release.
The second man, Kulmit Singh Dalvirsingh Randhawa, was the leader of a group that brought drugs from Punjab to Navi Mumbai.
The police caught him after a month-long search.
Both men are now in prison, and the police are still investigating their cases.
Irshad Sardar Khan, alias ‘Charshi Baba’, a 70-year-old drug trafficker, was detained under the PIT-NDPS Act, 1988.
He has seven cases registered against him under the NDPS Act for trafficking charas, ganja, and codeine phosphate.
In 2008, he was convicted and sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment but resumed drug trafficking after his release.
Kulmit Singh Dalvirsingh Randhawa, alias Fauji, was arrested for leading an interstate drug trafficking racket supplying heroin to Navi Mumbai.
The Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested 15 people in total, including Randhawa's sons, and seized drugs worth Rs. 1.19 crore.
