Former Education Official Arrested in Shalarth ID Scam
Imagine some people made fake IDs to get teaching jobs they didn't deserve.
This caused a big problem in the education department, called the Shalarth ID scam.
People created about 1,500 fake IDs to hire teachers illegally.
One of the people involved was Anil Pardhi, a former education official.
The police arrested him after they caught another person, Laxman Magam, who helped make the fake IDs.
Magam charged a lot of money for each fake ID.
The police are now looking into other people involved, including Ulhas Narad and Nilesh Waghmare.
The fake IDs not only got unqualified people jobs but also stole money.
The government is trying to stop this and make sure the education system is fair.
