MP Seeks Better Road Links for Ramayapatnam Port
A member of parliament from Nellore, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, met with the central government's road transport minister, Nitin Gadkari.
He asked for better roads to be built connecting a new port called Ramayapatnam Port.
He suggested two new roads: one that is 24 kilometers long and another that is 15 kilometers long.
These roads would help move goods more easily and quickly, which would save money and time.
This would also help businesses in the area grow and make more money.
The minister said he would look into the requests and take necessary actions.
Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss road connectivity to Ramayapatnam Port.
Two proposed road links: a 24-km route connecting the port to NH 16 and NH 167BG, and a 15-km route connecting the port to NH 16 and NH 167B towards Ongole.
