India's First Wildlife-Safe Road Opens in Madhya Pradesh
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has built a special road in Madhya Pradesh to keep animals safe.
This road has red markings that make drivers slow down and special tunnels for animals to cross safely.
The idea is to stop accidents between cars and animals.
The road is near a tiger reserve and a wildlife sanctuary.
The red markings are like the ones in Dubai and are very bright to catch the driver's attention.
There are also fences and cameras to guide animals to the safe tunnels.
If this works well, they might build more roads like this in other places.
India's first wildlife-safe road introduced on NH-45 in Madhya Pradesh.
Features table-top red markings and 25 underpasses for safe animal movement.
Aims to reduce animal-vehicle collisions and protect wildlife in ecologically sensitive areas.
Inspired by Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, with bright red markings to alert drivers.
Additional measures include an eight-foot-high fence, speed detection devices, and monitoring cameras.
