India's 2025 Defence Year: Operations, Deals, and Geopolitical Shifts

In 2025, India had a very busy year in defence.

They launched Operation Sindoor to target terrorist camps in Pakistan, using advanced systems like the S-400 missile system.

India also made big deals to buy and sell military equipment, like ordering 97 Tejas fighter jets and selling BrahMos missiles to other countries.

They worked closely with the Quad nations (US, Japan, and Australia) on security and technology.

India also strengthened its ties with Russia, despite some pressure from the US, and signed a 10-year defence agreement with the US to counter China's influence.

Overall, India showed its military strength and made important moves to be more self-reliant and secure.
