Naga Babu Takes Charge, Sets AP Green-Cover Target

Naga Babu has taken charge of a program called AP Green in Andhra Pradesh.

The program wants to increase the state’s forest and tree cover to 50% by 2047.

The state currently has 22.96% forest cover.

Trees and plants may be grown on farms, in villages, cities, roadsides and other suitable places.

Government departments will work together to make the plan happen.

Farmers, students, young people, citizens and companies will also be invited to help.

Naga Babu said protecting nature should become a movement involving everyone.

The program will not only plant trees but also check that the saplings survive and grow.

The goal is to provide cleaner air and a healthier environment for future generations.
