25 Killed in Nigeria's Deadliest Islamist Attack
In Nigeria, some bad people called Boko Haram attacked a town and killed 25 workers.
They also attacked a nearby army base and killed 9 soldiers.
This happened in a place called Borno, where there has been a lot of fighting for many years.
The Nigerian government is trying to work with the United States to make the area safer.
The workers were there to build something, and the soldiers were trying to protect people.
It's a very sad situation, and many people are upset about what happened.
At least 25 labourers were killed in an attack by suspected Boko Haram militants in Sabon Gari town, Borno State.
Nine soldiers and two civilian task force members were killed in a separate attack on an army base in Borno.
Borno remains the epicentre of a 17-year Islamist insurgency with intensified attacks by Boko Haram and ISWAP.
The Nigerian government is cooperating with the US to improve security following recent US air strikes.
The attacks have drawn international attention, especially after US President Donald Trump accused Nigeria of failing to protect Christians.
