Star Health Cashless Claims Restored After Negotiation
Imagine you have Star Health insurance and need to go to the hospital.
For a while, some hospitals were going to stop letting you use your insurance card to pay directly.
This meant you might have to pay upfront and ask for the money back later.
Luckily, after some talking, hospitals and Star Health agreed to let you use your insurance again, starting October 10!
They are still working out some issues about how much hospitals get paid, but for now, you can go to the hospital and use your insurance without paying immediately.
AHPI revoked its advisory on suspension of cashless services for Star Health Insurance.
Cashless services for Star Health Insurance policyholders to resume from October 10.
AHPI and Star Health will work to resolve tariff revision issues by October 31, 2025.
