Because the roads were bad and it was raining, cars couldn't get through.
So, the villagers made a stretcher out of bamboo and carried her for miles to get her to a hospital.
It was a long trip!
They finally got her to a hospital where she delivered a healthy baby.
Everyone was happy the mother and baby were safe, but the villagers were upset because their village still needs better roads, despite promises from the government.
