Piyush Goyal Reveals Piyush Pandey Created 'Abki Baar Modi Sarkar' Slogan
A government minister named Piyush Goyal told a story about a famous advertising person named Piyush Pandey.
Goyal said that Pandey came up with the catchy phrase 'Abki Baar Modi Sarkar' for an election a long time ago.
At first, Pandey didn't want to do it, but he felt it was important for the country, saying 'The country needs this.'
He created a slogan that was short, simple, and easy for everyone to understand.
Even though the slogan became very popular, Pandey was humble and never bragged about it, saying it didn't matter who got the credit.
Goyal learned from Pandey that to connect with people in India, it's good to think in Hindi.
This shows how a simple idea can have a big impact.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal revealed that late ad man Piyush Pandey created the 'Abki Baar Modi Sarkar' slogan for the 2014 BJP campaign.
Pandey initially refused the political branding assignment but later agreed, stating 'Yeh desh ki zaroorat hai' (The country needs this).
Goyal recalled the 'Eureka moment' when Pandey conceived the slogan in a lawn in Delhi.
Despite the slogan's success, Pandey never claimed credit, displaying humility as per Goyal's account.
Goyal shared that Pandey's advice was to 'think in Hindi' to connect with the Indian population.
