Samsung Galaxy S26 May Feature MagSafe-Style Magnetic Charging
Samsung is planning to add a new feature to its next Galaxy S26 phones.
They might include magnetic wireless charging, similar to Apple's MagSafe.
This means the phone could snap onto a special power bank and charge wirelessly.
The power bank is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery and can charge the phone at 15W wirelessly or 20W with a cable.
It's also expected to come in different colors and cost around $70.
Samsung hasn't confirmed these details yet, but they might share more at their upcoming event next month.
Samsung's Galaxy S26 series may introduce magnetic Qi2 wireless charging support.
A purpose-built magnetic power bank accessory is expected to be released alongside the phones.
The power bank is reported to have a 5,000mAh battery and support 15W wireless charging and 20W wired charging.
The accessory is expected to retail for around €59.90 in Germany, $70 in the US, and Rs 7,000 in India.
Samsung is likely to unveil more details at its Unpacked 2026 event next month.
