Normalcy Restored in Malkangiri After Violent Clashes
In Malkangiri district, there were some big fights between two groups of people, the local tribals and Bengali settlers.
This started after a woman from the tribal group was found dead in a very sad way.
The fights made many people leave their homes, and the government had to stop the internet and put some rules to keep people safe.
After some talks, both groups agreed to be peaceful, and things are now back to normal.
The government also turned the internet back on and removed the safety rules.
Normalcy returned to Malkangiri district on December 11, 2023, after violent clashes between local tribals and Bengali settlers.
