Xiaomi's Revenue Climbs, Fueled by Strong YU7 EV Demand
Xiaomi, a Chinese tech company, is doing well!
They made more money in the last few months, about 30% more, because people want to buy their new electric car, the YU7.
They earned around $16 billion, more than experts thought they would.
The company also made a lot more profit than last year.
The YU7 is supposed to compete with Tesla's cars.
Even though the price is less, the car has a lot of tech inside.
The company's stock went down a little bit today, but it's still worth much more than at the start of the year.
Xiaomi's revenue jumped 30.5% in Q2 2025 due to strong YU7 EV demand.
The company's Q2 revenue reached 116 billion yuan (USD 16.16 billion), surpassing analyst estimates.
Adjusted net profit grew 75.4% year-over-year to 10.8 billion yuan, also exceeding estimates.
The YU7 EV is positioned as a rival to Tesla's Model Y.
Xiaomi shares closed down 1.2% in Hong Kong, but are up 52% this year.
