Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Election Fraud
Rahul Gandhi, a leader in the Indian parliament, accused the ruling party, BJP, of cheating in elections and controlling important institutions.
He suggested three changes to make elections fairer: a list of voters that computers can read, keeping CCTV footage from elections for longer, and letting experts look at how voting machines are made.
He mentioned a recent problem where a foreigner's photo was wrongly put in the voter list.
Gandhi also talked about the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the famous leader who helped India become independent, to highlight the RSS's ideology.
The BJP members disagreed and said Gandhi should stick to talking about election reforms.
Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of controlling the Election Commission and committing 'vote chori' (vote theft).
He proposed three electoral reforms: machine-readable voter lists, retention of CCTV footage, and review of EVM architecture.
Gandhi mentioned a controversial incident where a Brazilian woman's photograph appeared against 22 names in Haryana's voter list.
He alleged that the RSS and BJP have captured key institutions, including education and investigative agencies, to target opposition.
Gandhi referenced Mahatma Gandhi's assassination by Nathuram Godse to highlight the RSS's ideology.
