MagTapp Rebuilds Browser Around AI, Expands to iOS
MagTapp is a browser made by an Indian technology company.
The company says more than 6 million people have downloaded it.
It began as a tool to help people learn using pictures and simple explanations.
Now it has rebuilt the browser so artificial intelligence is part of its main design.
The browser can answer searches, summarize long documents, translate languages, and explain hard ideas visually.
These AI tools use models called Alpie, made by 169Pi.
MagTapp has also released the browser for iPhones and iPads through iOS.
The company plans to add a desktop version and connect the browser across devices.
MagTapp says it has surpassed 6 million downloads and expanded its users across 106 countries.
The Indian company has rebuilt its browser around artificial intelligence and launched on iOS after years of Android growth.
Its AI features include direct-answer search, document and PDF summaries, translation, and visual explanations of difficult concepts.
MagTapp integrated Alpie AI models from technology partner 169Pi into its existing browser rather than launching a separate app.
The company plans a larger app, desktop browser, connected-device experience, and broader geographic expansion in the coming months.
