Gold Prices Surge Above ₹1 Lakh Amid Middle East Tensions
Gold prices in India went above ₹1 lakh for the first time.
This happened because of rising tensions between Israel and Iran, making investors want to keep their money safe in gold.
Gold prices started at ₹99,500 and went up to ₹1,00,403.
Silver prices also went up a bit.
Around the world, the price of gold also increased, reaching the highest level since May 7.
Experts predict that prices may go up and down in the near future.
Gold prices in India surpassed ₹1 lakh per 10 grams on MCX.
The rise was driven by escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
22-carat gold was ₹9,679 per gram, and 24-carat gold was ₹9,917 per gram.
Silver prices also increased.
Globally, spot gold rose to $3,428.28 per ounce.
