Australian Shares Fall, CBA Leads Financials Lower
Australian stocks went down after reaching a record high.
Commonwealth Bank, a big bank, lost almost 5% of its value, which impacted the overall market.
The drop was because investors were worried about the bank's future profits, even though it had a good year.
Meanwhile, companies that mine things like iron ore did well.
Some other companies, like AGL Energy, had a bad day after not making as much money as expected.
Australian shares fell from a record close.
Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) declined nearly 5%.
The banking sub-index dropped 1.8%.
Miners gained 0.9% due to rising iron ore futures.
AGL Energy dropped 12.3% after missing market estimates.
