Telangana High Court Grants Bail to Advocates in Suicide Case

Telangana High Court Grants Bail to Advocates in Suicide Case

The Telangana High Court gave two advocates protection from arrest while their case is investigated.

A woman accused one advocate of having sex with her after promising to marry her.

She also said he later refused to marry her and harassed her.

She accused the second advocate of supporting and humiliating the first man.

She said the harassment led to two suicide attempts.

The accused said the relationship was consensual and that the allegations were false or unclear.

The woman and the state disagreed and said there was initial evidence against the men.

The judge said hurtful words alone do not legally prove that someone caused another person to attempt suicide.

The court also ordered the men not to threaten witnesses or interfere with evidence.
