CBSE Amends School Affiliation Rules Based on Building Area
The CBSE, which runs many schools, has changed its rules.
Now, how many classes a school can have depends on how big the school building is, specifically the inside floor space.
Before, it depended on the land the school had.
Schools had trouble adding classes even when they had students who wanted to join.
The new rule helps with this.
Schools can now have the same number of classes for older students as they do for younger ones.
The local government or an architect will confirm the size of the building.
