Brother of Anitha Joins Protest Against NEET
Maniratnam, the brother of S. Anitha, a 17-year-old Dalit student from Tamil Nadu who died by suicide after failing to clear the NEET exam, has joined protests in Delhi against NEET.
Anitha had scored high in her Class 12 exams but couldn't meet the NEET cut-off.
She had petitioned the Supreme Court to exempt Tamil Nadu students from NEET, arguing it disadvantaged rural and underprivileged candidates, but her plea was rejected.
