Congress alleges BJP trucked Yuva Morcha members to Jharkhand protest
In Jharkhand, a state in India, many students are unhappy because they think the exams for government jobs were not fair.
They are protesting and asking leaders to listen to them.
Some students tried to get close to the state assembly building, where leaders make laws.
Police used water cannons and tear gas to stop them, and some protesters said they got hurt.
A leader named Rahul Gandhi said it is wrong to hurt peaceful protesters.
He said students have the right to protest calmly and that talking is the best way to solve the problem.
Another leader, K C Venugopal, accused the BJP political party of sending young members from West Bengal in trucks to make the protest look bigger.
He said this was a trick to distract people from the students' real concerns.
The students hope their voices will be heard and their problems fixed.
Congress general secretary K C Venugopal alleged that BJP Yuva Morcha members were being transported from West Bengal to Jharkhand in trucks to join the student protest.
Venugopal accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah of petty politics and of trying to give 'a different colour' to the non-violent student movement with a 'fake crowd'.
The protest is over alleged recruitment exam irregularities, and police in Ranchi used water cannons, tear gas shells and lathi-charge after job aspirants breached barricades.
Rahul Gandhi condemned any violence against peacefully protesting students and urged the Jharkhand government to continue hearing them out and resolve their issues through dialogue.
Congress is a constituent of the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand even as party leaders criticize the police action against protesters.
