Skanray Proposes Skanjet Airline for Regional Connectivity
Skanray Technologies wants to start a new airline called Skanjet Aviation.
The idea is to help smaller cities like Mysuru, which often lose flight services when airlines have problems.
The airline plans to start flying in April 2026, with three small planes.
These planes will fly to places like Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi.
The company needs about ₹150 crore to start and hopes to make money quickly by focusing on routes with high demand.
They believe air travel can be cheaper, safer, and faster than driving or taking the train.
Skanray Technologies proposes Skanjet Aviation to address regional connectivity gaps, starting with Mysuru.
The airline plans to launch by April 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, with three ATR-72 aircraft.
Initial routes include Mysuru to Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Hubballi.
Skanjet aims to raise ₹150 crore from HNI associates for the venture.
The focus is on early profitability, targeting routes with existing high demand and operational vulnerabilities.
