Mumbai Airport Terminal Shuffle: Akasa Air to T2, Air India Express to T1

Mumbai Airport Terminal Shuffle: Akasa Air to T2, Air India Express to T1

Akasa Air is moving all its flights to Terminal 2 (T2) at Mumbai's airport starting August 1.

Air India Express will split its flights between Terminal 1 (T1) for domestic and T2 for international flights from October 1.

This change is to make things run smoother and balance the workload.

Passengers are asked to check their flight terminals and plan extra time.

T1 will soon be only for domestic flights and will get a big upgrade in 2030.

The airport is very busy, handling over 55 million passengers a year, and this change is part of making things better.
