Tata Electronics expands India semiconductor partnerships across supply chain

Tata Electronics is building semiconductor facilities in India.

It is working with companies from Japan and Malaysia to make this possible.

One partnership will help supply special chemicals for a chip factory in Dholera, Gujarat.

Another will help install important equipment and infrastructure there.

A Japanese company will help Tata prepare to package chips in Jagiroad, Assam.

The companies may also make lead frames, which are parts used in chip packaging, in India.

Other partners will help safely transport and store semiconductor materials.

Together, the agreements cover many steps needed to manufacture and package chips.
