BMW Motorrad India to raise bike prices by 6% from January 2026
BMW Motorrad India, which sells BMW motorcycles, has announced that it will increase the prices of its bikes by up to 6% starting from January 1, 2026.
The company says this is because the Indian rupee has become weaker compared to the US dollar and euro, which makes it more expensive to import parts and materials.
The price hike will affect all BMW motorcycles sold in India, including both those made in India and those imported from other countries.
The prices of these bikes currently range from Rs 2.81 lakh to Rs 48.63 lakh.
The company's CEO, Hardeep Singh Brar, said this price increase is necessary to maintain the company's profitability and support its dealers.
BMW Motorrad India will increase bike prices by up to 6% from January 1, 2026.
The price hike is due to the Indian rupee's depreciation against the US dollar and euro.
Increased input costs of raw materials and logistics are also contributing factors.
All BMW Motorrad motorcycles, including 'Made in India' models and imported premium bikes, will be affected.
The current price range of BMW Motorrad motorcycles is from Rs 2.81 lakh to Rs 48.63 lakh.
