Ashmit Patel: Murder's success did little for my career

An actor named Ashmit Patel was in a movie called Murder a long time ago, in 2004.

The movie became very famous and lots of people loved its music and its actors.

But Ashmit says that even though the movie was a big success, it did not help his own career very much.

He thinks his co-star Mallika Sherawat got most of the attention and praise.

While they were making the movie, Ashmit was very sad because his ex had cheated on him.

Acting in the movie actually helped him feel better about what happened.

He says the feelings he showed in the film, like sadness and anger, were real feelings from his own life.

Making the movie was like a way for him to let those feelings out and heal.
