Rajasthan Suspends 215 Private Pharmacies Over RGHS Medicine Delays

Rajasthan authorities temporarily stopped 215 private pharmacies from processing transactions under a government health scheme.

The scheme helps eligible people receive cashless or discounted medicines.

Officials said some pharmacies had not provided medicines on time.

The pharmacies were asked to explain the problem.

Some explanations were considered unsatisfactory, while some pharmacies did not respond.

Their computer access for processing scheme transactions was then suspended.

Jaipur had the largest number of pharmacies affected, with 39.

Officials said they are monitoring the system and want beneficiaries to receive medicines without unnecessary delays.
