Shiv Sena Leader Surrenders After Bail Cancellation

Shiv Sena Leader Surrenders After Bail Cancellation

A man named Ramesh Mhatre, who is a leader in the Shiv Sena party, had to surrender to the police.

This happened because a high court in Bombay decided to cancel his bail.

The bail was for a case where he and others are accused of attacking doctors and nurses at a hospital in Dombivli.

The attack happened after a patient died, and a group of people went to the hospital and hurt the medical staff and damaged the hospital.

The court said the allegations were serious and that the lower court did not properly consider how bad the crime was when it gave him bail.

Now, Ramesh Mhatre will have to go to court in Kalyan.

Mhatre claims he was only assisting a woman and her child and denies assaulting the doctors.

The Bombay High Court revoked Mhatre's bail due to serious allegations and the lower court's failure to consider the gravity of the offense.
