Mumbai Office Demand Seen Growing 12–15% Annually Through 2030
Mumbai may need many more offices over the next few years.
A new report predicts office demand will grow by 12–15% every year from 2027 to 2030.
This would be faster than the city’s recent leasing pace.
From 2022 to 2026, Mumbai leased about 11.8 million square feet of office space each year.
The report also says Mumbai’s total office stock could become 1.3 times larger by 2030.
Mumbai already had about 16% of India’s office space in the first half of 2026.
The findings were presented at the CII Real Estate Summit 2026 in Mumbai.
This means developers and businesses may prepare for a major expansion of commercial space.
