Shatashatam education programme expanded to 100 government schools

Shatashatam education programme expanded to 100 government schools

In a place called Mahabubnagar in India, there is a special program called Shatashatam that helps children in government schools learn better.

Government schools are schools run by the government, and many children from villages go there to study.

Last year, the program was in 30 schools, and it worked very well.

Kids who were not doing well in their studies started getting good marks, and some even scored more than 500.

Because it worked so well, the leaders decided to make the program bigger.

Now it will be in 100 schools, and almost 16,000 students will get help.

To get ready, 100 volunteer helpers were chosen and trained for three days.

A government leader named Yennam Srinivas Reddy announced this good news.

The program even won an award from a group called the American Telugu Association.

This is a story about grown-ups working together to help children learn and succeed in school.
