FDA Shuts Iconic Mumbai Eateries Over Hygiene Violations

FDA Shuts Iconic Mumbai Eateries Over Hygiene Violations

The FDA in Maharashtra has shut down two famous food places in Mumbai, K Rustom and Parsi Dairy Farm, because they didn't follow hygiene rules.

K Rustom had rats, expired ingredients, and other problems, while Parsi Dairy had fungus, flies, and broken drains.

Both places are very old and loved by many people, but the FDA says they need to follow modern safety rules.

Some people are sad and think the closures are unfair, while others think it's good that the FDA is making sure food is safe.

The FDA has also shut down many other food businesses in the state for similar reasons.
