West Godavari District Promotes Tech Use Among Farmers
The government is helping farmers in West Godavari by giving them money for drones and machinery.
They gave out about 3 crore rupees to groups of farmers so they could get drones at a discounted price.
Some drones have already been given out, and more are coming.
Also, the government has provided other farming tools to hundreds of small farmers with subsidies.
Using this new technology can help farmers grow more crops, save money, and earn more.
West Godavari district distributed Rs 3.14 crore to 40 farmer groups for drones.
Farmers received drones with an 80% subsidy.
15 drones have already been delivered to farmers.
The state government distributed personal machinery worth Rs 8.99 crore to 709 farmers.
