Paris Cancels Champs-Elysees New Year's Eve Concert
Paris has decided to cancel the big New Year's Eve concert on the famous Champs-Elysées.
Instead, they will show a pre-recorded show on TV.
The fireworks at midnight will still happen.
The police said it's too hard to keep everyone safe with so many people in one place.
They also mentioned that there have been some scary incidents and a high terror alert.
So, Paris is being extra careful this year.
Paris authorities canceled the traditional live New Year’s Eve concert on the Champs-Élysées due to public safety concerns.
A pre-recorded show will be broadcast on national television instead of the live event.
The midnight fireworks display over the Arc de Triomphe will still take place as planned.
The Paris Police Prefecture cited crowd control and safety risks as the primary reasons for the cancellation.
The decision comes amid an elevated terror alert level and heightened security around Christmas markets.
