Gurgaon Hit-and-Run: 20-Year-Old Driver Arrested
A man named Amitabh Jain was riding his bike in Gurgaon when a car hit him from behind and drove away.
The car was going very fast and the man was hurt badly.
He was taken to a hospital, but he died later.
The police found the car and arrested the driver, who was 20 years old and did not have a license to drive.
The owner of the car was also arrested because he let someone without a license drive his car.
The family of the man is very sad and his son came from London to be with them.
The police are still investigating to find out more about what happened.
Amitabh Jain, a 58-year-old businessman, was killed in a hit-and-run accident while cycling in Gurgaon's DLF Phase-2 area.
The incident was captured on CCTV, showing a white Hyundai Santro with a Delhi number plate hitting Jain from behind and speeding away.
Jain was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead hours later.
Police arrested a 20-year-old driver, Sahil, who did not have a valid driving licence, and the 40-year-old owner of the car, Gagandeep Nagar, for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate the vehicle.
The vehicle was not insured, and both accused were produced before a local court and sent to judicial custody.
