8-Month-Old Tiger Cub Killed by Tigress in Bandhavgarh
A little tiger cub, who was 8 months old, was found dead in a forest called Bandhavgarh.
The cub had run away from her home a while ago.
Forest workers found her body and think a big female tiger, called a tigress, killed her.
The cub and her brother were rescued when they were babies after their mom died.
They were kept in a special place, but as they grew bigger, the workers tried to move them.
One of the cubs escaped and ran into the forest.
Sadly, she was found dead later.
The workers did a special check on her body and then followed the rules to take care of it.
An 8-month-old female tiger cub was found dead in the Tala range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
Forest officials believe the cub was killed by an adult tigress during a routine patrol.
The cub had previously escaped from an enclosure where she and her sibling were kept after their mother's death.
The cubs were rescued in October last year when they were three months old.
The carcass was recovered around 8 am on Wednesday and was burnt following NTCA protocols.
