AP Forms JACs to Inspect Educational Institutions
The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to form special teams called Joint Action Committees (JACs) to check on schools and hostels.
These teams will make sure that students are healthy and safe.
They will look at things like the cleanliness of the hostels, the food being served, and if there are any problems like snakes or stray dogs around.
The teams will also check if doctors visit the hostels regularly and if there are enough medicines nearby.
This is being done to make sure all students have a good and safe place to study and live.
Andhra Pradesh Health Department directs district collectors to form Joint Action Committees (JACs) to inspect educational institutions and hostels.
JACs will ensure the well-being of students by checking health, environment, and hostel conditions.
Committees will include officials from multiple departments such as Health, Food Safety, and Education.
Inspections will focus on regular doctor visits, student health issues, and availability of medicines.
JACs will also check the surrounding environment for potential hazards like snakes, stray dogs, or rats.
