Ashwin Prioritizes ILT20 Over SA20 Following IPL Retirement
Cricket star Ravichandran Ashwin, recently retired from the IPL, is skipping the SA20 auction.
He wants to play in the ILT20 league instead.
Because both tournaments happen at the same time, he can't do both.
Initially, some thought there were restrictions, but that isn't true.
Ashwin is now free to play in multiple leagues.
In his last IPL season, he played for Chennai Super Kings but didn't have a very good performance.
Ravichandran Ashwin did not appear in the SA20 2026 auction list.
Ashwin retired from the IPL on August 27.
Speculation arose regarding his absence from the SA20.
The primary reason is Ashwin prioritizing the ILT20 auction.
The SA20 and ILT20 tournaments overlap in their schedules.
