Amit Shah Launches E-Zero FIR to Combat Cyber Frauds
Union Home Minister Amit Shah started a new system called e-zero FIR in Madhya Pradesh.
This system helps people report cyber frauds quickly.
It connects different digital platforms to make sure that the police can start investigating right away.
The first two hours after a fraud are very important, and if you call 1930, the authorities can freeze the money before the fraudsters get it.
This makes it easier to catch the bad guys and get the money back.
Madhya Pradesh is the second state in India to use this system, after Delhi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the e-zero FIR initiative in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
The initiative is part of the ‘Cyber Surakhshit Bharat’ program to combat cyber financial frauds.
Madhya Pradesh is the second state after Delhi to implement the e-zero FIR system.
The system integrates three key digital platforms: NCRP, I4C, and CCTNS.
Victims can contact 1930 within the first two hours of fraud to freeze funds and secure digital evidence.
