Three Government Media Officials Killed in Mizoram Crash
Three government media workers died in a car crash in Mizoram.
Their names were Engam Pame, Nampibou Marinmai and H. Lianvela.
They were traveling back to Aizawl after visiting Sialsuk.
The car went off the road near Sataek and fell into a deep gorge.
The driver was badly hurt, and reports said another person was also injured.
Rescue workers had difficulty reaching the car because the land was steep.
Officials said the driver may have suddenly felt unwell, but authorities were still investigating the crash.
The bodies were taken for examination and were to be returned to the families on Friday.
Three officials from Doordarshan, the Press Information Bureau and the Central Bureau of Communication died in a Mizoram crash.
