₹5 Crore for Cubbon Park Upkeep, High Court Relocation Review
The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, D.K. Shivakumar, announced that they will spend ₹5 crore to fix up Cubbon Park.
They're also thinking about moving the High Court building because there isn't enough space.
The government will find a new location in the city, but they can't move it outside of the city.
Also, high-tech cameras will be installed to watch what's happening in Cubbon Park.
This is happening because people want the park to be better and the High Court needs more room.
D.K. Shivakumar announced ₹5 crore for Cubbon Park's upkeep.
Funds will come from the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).
The government plans to organize cultural events at Cubbon Park.
The request to relocate the Karnataka High Court is under review.
Legal hurdles exist regarding the Race Course as a potential High Court site.
