Piramal Finance Raises ₹3,850 Crore Through QIP, Promoter Warrants

Piramal Finance is a company that provides loans for homes and businesses.

It raised ₹2,100 crore by selling shares to large professional investors.

These investors included Indian mutual funds and global investment firms.

The company’s board also approved plans to raise another ₹1,750 crore through warrants for a promoter group entity.

That second fundraising still needs shareholder, statutory, and regulatory approvals.

If both transactions are completed, the company could receive about ₹3,850 crore.

Piramal Finance said the money will make its financial base stronger.

It also plans to use the capital to grow its lending business carefully.

The company said it has served more than 60 lakh customers and provided over 25 lakh loans.
