Ola Electric Loses Market Share
Ola Electric, which used to be the leader in electric two-wheelers, sold fewer scooters in November and lost its top spot.
Hero Motocorp, which is new to electric vehicles, sold more scooters and took Ola's place.
TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto are still ahead.
Other companies like Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki are also trying to sell electric scooters, but they are not as successful yet.
Ola needs to improve its products and strategies to compete with these companies.
Ola Electric's registrations fell to 8,254 units in November, below 10,000 units/month.
Ola's market share dropped to 7.4%, slipping below double digits.
Hero Motocorp overtook Ola, registering 11,795 Vida e-scooters and securing 10.6% market share.
Ather Energy and Hero together registered 31,814 units, commanding 29% of the market.
TVS Motor remains the leader with 29,756 registrations, followed by Bajaj Auto with 25,086.
