Court Orders Fresh Height Measurement After CAPF Rejects Candidate

Court Orders Fresh Height Measurement After CAPF Rejects Candidate

A person applied to become a constable in the Central Armed Police Forces.

Officials said he was 164 centimetres tall.

The job required a height of 165 centimetres.

Because of this one-centimetre difference, his application was rejected.

He appealed the decision on the same day.

However, the appeal papers did not show that officials measured him again.

The Gauhati High Court said his height should be checked again.

Justice Nelson Sailo heard the case.
