Many party leaders and students joined in.
They talked about how Rao's hunger strike helped make Telangana a state and how his government improved people's lives.

The BRS party promised to keep fighting for Telangana.
In Gadwal, leaders hoisted the BRS party flag, paid floral tributes to Telangana Talli, and recalled KCR's sacrifices and achievements.
