Harish Rao Rejects Allegations Over Father-in-Law’s Family Land Deal

Harish Rao Rejects Allegations Over Father-in-Law’s Family Land Deal

T. Harish Rao denied that his father-in-law’s land deal was improper.

He said the land was given to his father-in-law by a Congress government in 1995.

He said another Congress government issued permission for the land in 2010.

The property was later registered after payment by cheque, according to Rao.

Rao also disagreed about why another piece of land was acquired.

He said it was for the Godavari Sujala Sravanthi project, not Mission Bhagiratha.

He said the government was using personal accusations to distract from problems with the Section 22-A prohibited-land list.

He wants the government to explain how many properties were added to or removed from that list.
